Check out the article about The Hang and The Teaching in the August 2009 Earshot Jazz Magazine!
“It’s a way of living your life – living with teamwork, cooperation, and integration. And we’re so excited about it now because this has been new for all of us.” Jeremy Jones continues: “It’s been a gift that tells me the universe is friendly.” Quickly it becomes clear, this isn’t an ordinary jam session.

Dear Friend,
I invite you to join me to Unleash Your Creativity this Saturday August 8th at Lucid Jazz Lounge 12:30-3:30pm. We will delve into a most essential subject: the direct experience of inner freedom, happiness and free flow of creativity.
Have you ever experienced one or more of these thoughts?
- It’s hard to support myself doing what I love to do.
- I want others to acknowledge and recognize me more.
- I haven’t found full satisfaction in my work or creative outlets.
- I’m behind.
- It’s hard.
At this workshop we’ll identify, capture, and question thoughts such as these that paralyze creative expression and destroy happiness. We will use The Work (process by Byron Katie) to inquire on any concept that would keep us from experiencing inner freedom and contentment. Whether you are already experiencing great happiness, or are struggling to find a sense of ease in your daily life, this workshop will take you deeper into your joyful self.
After graduating from Duke University in 2002, I worked 4+ years full time at Microsoft and cultivated additional creative passions on evenings and weekends. I often considered leaving my office job to delve fully into creative pursuits – and would be barraged by fears and unknowns. When my mind became clear, it was simplicity to leave my job and leap into the unknown. I haven’t had the slightest regret. Are you looking to make any shift in your life, large or small, that may be obscured by fears, unknowns, or habits? Let’s inquire.
Regardless of the field you’re in or whether you’ve found a particular form of creative expression, YOU are invited and welcome! If your interest is sparked at all, I love that you would take a chance and attend.
See you Saturday,
Jeremy
